Our refund policy aims to be understanding of life’s challenges and difficulties. We understand that sometimes things happen and emergencies take over.
We also must be respectful of the needs of others who also need our assistance and services.

We do not provide legal aid mediation at this time. If you are eligible you will be told in your MIAM and an alternative mediation company can provide both MIAM ‘s and mediation for you.
If you are eligible for legal aid choose to pay privately then this is your choice and we cannot refund your MIAM fees.
If the other person in your case is able to claim legal aid then again we can provide details of mediators with legal aid contracts. If you both choose to continue as private paying clients we will continue to manage your case.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts ( Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. However this policy will take affect once the 14 day period has finished.
Under this legislation , you have the right to cancel an online contract for services within 14 days of making a contract.. The date of the contract will be the date you accept and send your request for an appointment.
To cancel the contract you will need to send email confirmation to admin@ourkidsfirst.org.uk within the 14 calendar days.
If you cancel your contract we will reimburse you all monies paid within 14 days of the date you have made us aware of your decision if it falls within the timescales above.
If we have provided services to you in the time between your asking and cancelling the contract we will deduct a proportionate sum to cover the work already completed.
